It began back in 2002 when, by chance, I began performing at various venues in the desert cities. I quickly became known as the singer who looks and sounds like Whitney Houston. I am constantly being approached to do a Whitney look alike /sound alike; which I have always graciously declined up to November of 2013 when a great number of my supporters and clients earnestly began urging me that "now is the time to do a Whitney Houston Tribute". Even my husband, (the skeptic) expressed to me that I should earnestly pray about it because he felt, too, that it was time.
I did not want to commit it to prayer because I was afraid of the answer. My thought was, as long as I am unaware that I am supposed to do this, I can continue to say no; but if I pray about it and the Lord says "yes," then I can't say no.
The thought of doing a Whitney tribute concert terrified me because she has huge shoes to fill; the numerous power ballads and No. 1 hits she sang are a bit too much for me in my opinion. However, my public thought differently... and so did the Lord. So here I am, being obedient to the God that both Whitney and I serve(d).
On October 18th and 19th of 2014, the first Essence of Whitney tribute concert was bourn. I was honored and privileged to work with musicians who actually toured with Whitney as well as other celebrities. If I were to sum up the reviews which poured in after the concert in one word, it would be, and I quote, "otherworldly".
It has been commissioned that I am to tour the world with this Essence of Whitney tribute but that doesn't come without production costs.
Many of you, (my friends, loved ones, and supporters) have been asking me when the next Whitney tribute will take place... I honestly can't give an answer until I can book a venue which means I will need a Deposit. In addition to booking the venue, here is a list of other pre-production costs and needs:

I have to admit that I was a bit overwhelmed when I realized just how costly it can be to produce a concert as well as a tour but...
