I design mostly African print accessories and clothing but also offer other unique boutique style pieces. My brand fuses traditional African culture with bold modern designs, to offer a fresh new twist on fashion and style.
•What Is Essence Fest?
Essence Festival is one of the largest cultural entertainment and empowerment experiences in the U.S., which is held annually in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Over five hundred thousand people attend every year.
Why I need donations:
Being a vendor at Essence Fest has been a dream of mine for a couple of years now and this year I finally feel like I’m ready to give it a shot. However, the vendor fee has increased to $2,600 this year and I know I cannot afford all the costs associated with vending at Essence, on my own.
Not only would this be the biggest festival/event i've ever done to date but it would help my business to gain more awareness and grow tremendously.
I’m asking for anyone that supports my business or sees value in what I do, to simply donate a dollar. If all of my Instagram followers/facebook friends, etc, donated just ONE dollar, I believe I could afford to pay this fee or at least cut down on the cost tremendously.
