On Easter in 2010, my mother Mary Trahan was diagnosed with Stage 4 Uterine Cancer. Through much hard work and treatment, she beat this disease and since that time has been free of it.

On October 27th 2014, a trip to the emergency room for a fever and pain, led to the discovery that her cancer had returned full force. This was a shock, to say the least, and has greatly disrupted the life of my parents.  When they checked her CA-125 level to find out how bad it is this time, the reading showed a reading of four times higher than was it considered high.

This diagnosis comes at a terrible time both emotionally and financially. She has already missed quite a bit of work and provides the only reliable income in the household. Her electric has been shut off and there is a good chance she may lose her apartment completely.

This project is designed to help her pay for back owed bills, as well as provide a small cushion for future incoming bills. 

My Mother is a beautiful woman, and she deserves all the help she can get. Anyone who has ever met her knows how deeply she can touch someones heart. She is a wonderful Mother, an even better Grandmother, and has already been through more in this lifetime then I can begin to explain.
