My lil cat Espurr has been having health problems involving her leg for the past couple months. It started with some slight limping that we thought were joint problems, but we soon realized she had multiple lumps and inflammation in her leg. The vet initially expected cancer was the underlying cause and did a needle aspiration biopsy and an x-ray that were both inconclusive. She was given an antibiotic and steroid, but the next day her leg had gotten even worse and developed a serious infection. After getting a second opinion it was clear that there was no choice but to amputate her back left leg. The entire leg was sent off for diagnostics to know for sure if cancer was the cause.

This entire thing has been incredibly difficult and the overwhelming medical bills only makes things worse. I love my baby and would do anything for her to get the care that she needs.
