Help Espn & Jessica Grady Recover from Dog attack
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Jessica Headson and I am Jessica and Espns downstairs neighbor in our duplex. I’ve known Jessica since I was a child and she is a great person, wonderful mother, and friend. On September 12th at about 8pm I was getting my kids in bed when my Fiancé Casey and I heard horrifying screams from upstairs and I knew the worst had happened. Casey ran up to help and wasn’t able to get in since the door was locked. Luckily 4 year old Espn was able to make it over to the door to let him in, revealing that they had been attacked and severely injured by their lifelong dog. When Casey turned the corner he saw Jessica was held
by the dog on the back of her neck/trap area and he was luckily able to grab Angus by both sides of his neck, pull him off of Jessica, and drag him to the bathroom. Unfortunately they both sustained injuries needing medical attention. Jessica needed 4 stitches to the back of her neck along with treating hand injuries, and Espn had much more extensive injuries, to his face and a fractured hand needing emergency surgery early that next morning. Espn is currently at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin recovering from surgery and anyone who knows him knows, he is one brave little boy who is hoping to get his beautiful smile back on his face very soon! Espn is great friends with my daughter and we care about their family so much. Unfortunately there will be medical bills along with Jessica having to be off work for the time being in order to be in the hospital with her son. We are hoping to raise money to be able to help them out during this incredibly difficult and traumatic time. We know they are so brave as that is how Jessica raised Espn to be but we would love to make things a bit easier on them! If you feel so inclined every dollar helps! All the money will being going directly to the Grady family.
