Les presentamos a Valeria Castro, una joven de 15 años que actualmente vive en Canutillo, Texas, y integrante del equipo de escaramuza Generalas de Zapata de Nuevo Mexico. Ella y su equipo vinieron a representar con orgullo a nuestra comunidad en la competencia del Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo Escaramuza Invitational.

Desafortunadamente, durante su práctica oficial, Valeria sufrió un accidente y se fracturó dos vértebras de la columna. Tuvo que ser sometida a una cirugía de emergencia y actualmente está hospitalizada en Fort Worth.

Ella y sus papás tendrán que quedarse varias semanas aquí para su tratamiento y recuperación, enfrentando gastos médicos, hospedaje y comidas lejos de su casa y familia. Ahora más que nunca necesitan de nuestra ayuda.

Valeria es una niña dulce y valiente, que está haciendo todo lo posible para salir adelante. Como comunidad charra, tenemos la oportunidad de unirnos y apoyarla en este difícil momento. Cualquier apoyo que puedan brindar hará una gran diferencia en su camino hacia la recuperación. Gracias de corazón!

We introduce you to Valeria Castro, a 15-year-old girl from Canutillo, Texas, and is a proud member of the Generalas de Zapata Escaramuza team from New Mexico. She and her team came to represent and compete at the Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo Escaramuza Invitational.

Unfortunately, during her competition day practice, Valeria suffered an accident and fractured two vertebrae in her spine. She had to undergo emergency surgery and is currently hospitalized in Fort Worth.

Valeria and her parents will need to stay in the area for several weeks for her treatment and recovery, facing medical expenses, lodging, and food costs far from home and family. Now more than ever, they need our help.

Valeria is a sweet and courageous young girl who is doing everything possible to recover. As a charro community, we have the chance to come together and support her during this challenging time.
