Recientemente, un terremoto sacudió nuestra región en Colombia, destruyendo una parte muy importante de nuestro hogar familiar. Esta casa no eran solo paredes y ladrillos; era el fruto del esfuerzo, el trabajo y el amor de toda una vida, un legado construido por mi padre, mi madre, mi hermana y por mí con mucho sacrificio a lo largo de los años. Gracias a Dios, mi familia se encuentra a salvo, pero perdieron gran parte de las instalaciones y la estructura que con tanto esfuerzo levantaron.

¿Cómo se gastarán los fondos específicamente?

La totalidad del dinero recaudado a través de esta campaña será entregada y destinada exclusivamente a cubrir los costos directos de la reconstrucción de la vivienda familiar. Específicamente, los fondos se usarán para:

Compra de materiales de construcción esenciales (ladrillos, cemento, varillas de acero y tejas).

Pago de mano de obra local para levantar de nuevo los muros agrietados y reparar el techo y las zonas estructurales dañadas del hogar.

Hello, my name is Gloria. I am originally from Colombia and currently live abroad, maintaining a direct and close bond with my family in my home country.

Recently, an earthquake struck our region in Colombia, destroying a major part of our family home. This house wasn’t just walls and bricks; it was the fruit of a lifetime of effort, hard work, and love—a legacy built by my father, my mother, my sister, and myself through immense sacrifice over the years. Thank God, my family is safe, but they lost a significant portion of the structure and living areas that they worked so hard to build.

How the funds will be spent (Specific breakdown):

All funds raised through this campaign will be sent directly to cover the explicit costs of rebuilding the family home. Specifically, the money will be used for:

Purchasing essential construction materials (bricks, cement, steel reinforcing bars, and roofing materials).

Hiring local labor to reconstruct the cracked walls and repair the damaged roof and structural sections of the house.
