Un granito de ayuda para mi abuelo:
Mi abuelito chuchuchu o mas formalmente conocido como Rafael Guillermo Oyon Guevara necesita nuestra ayuda ahorita ya que recientemente se descubrió que el tumor meningioma que tenia en en la cervical le esta creciendo y comprimiendo nervios, presionando la médula. El tumor, el cual es benigno, fue diagnosticado hace mas de 20 años y en su tiempo le hicieron cirugía y tratamiento para reducirlo ya que el lugar en el que se encuentra ubicado es difícil de tratar si causar otro daño mayor. Recientemente mi abuelo empezó a presentar nuevamente dolores y molestias en el area, causando incluso micro infartos cerebrales (básicamente mini ACV), que también le cause dolores del cuello, dificultad para caminar, fatiga, etc. Fue al doctor a revisarse y le dijo que se debe al crecimiento del tumor el cual esta comprimiendo nervios cerebrales.
Mi abuelo es un hombre de 80 años profesor emerito de la facultad de agronomia de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, pero quiere tratar de seguir viviendo la mejor calidad de vida que se pueda obtener. El actualmente vive en Venezuela, y todo aquel que este familiarizado con la situación actual en Venezuela sabe que la situación alla es terrible y la gente vive el día a día tratando de sobrevivir. El doctor le dijo que la mejor manera de tratar de su condición es con tratamiento de radioterapia, el cual tiene un costo de alrededor de 9 mil dolares, nosotros sus familiares queremos ayudarle en lo que mas podamos, pero incluso con nuestro recursos 9 mil dolare va mas alla de nuestro presupuesto por lo cual este es nuestro intento de pedir ayuda a otros para cubrir los gastos para el tratamiento de mi abuelo. Cualquier donación se la agradeceríamos de todo corazón! Adjunto hay un informe del doctor junto con un descripción de todos los gastos en la moneda de Venezuela de su tratamiento.

Every little help for my grandpa
My grandpa "chuchuchu" as I call him, or more formally known as Rafael Guillermo Oyon-Guevara, graduated from Cal State San Luis Obispo, needs all of our help right now. Recently he found out that the benign tumor he has in the base of his brain is starting to grow pressing his nerves, causing him small strokes, neck pain, fatigue, loss of balance etc. He was diagnosed with this tumor about 20 years ago, and at the time they treated it, but were unable to completely remove it due to the location of the tumor, as it might have caused more damage.
He recently went back to the doctor and informed him of the growth of the tumor and the options he has. He needs to get a radiotherapy treatment which costs around $ 9, 000. HE currently lives in Venezuela and anybody how’s familiar with the situation of that country knows that people there are just trying to survive. We want to help him, give him the best quality of life we can, but even with our resources there's only so much we can do, which is why we're asking for your help. Whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated! Attached is a medical report in Spanish from his doctor and a break down of the costs for his treatment.
