Help Baby Elia, Our Tiny Warrior
Sweet Baby Elia made her entrance into the world far earlier than anyone expected. Born at just 23 weeks gestation, weighing only 1 lb 8 oz, she is a true micro preemie—a tiny miracle fighting for her life.
Elia is currently in the NICU, on a ventilator, and bravely battling a blood infection. Every day brings new challenges, but also new signs of her incredible strength.
Her parents, Esperanza and Emilio, have been by her side every step of the way. If you follow their journey on social media, you know how much love and dedication they’ve already shown as new parents. They are pouring every ounce of their hearts into being there for Elia—but the reality is, the financial stress is heavy.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Both Esperanza and Emilio are on FMLA so they can be with Elia. Unfortunately, their family income will be cut by nearly 50% until Elia is able to come home in 3–4 months.
The costs of gas, parking, meals away from home, and the medical expenses that pile up with such a long hospital stay are overwhelming.
On top of day-to-day bills—rent, utilities, groceries—they face the added uncertainty of caring for a critically ill newborn.
How Your Gift Will Be Used
Every donation will go directly toward:
Daily expenses (rent, food, utilities, transportation).
Medical costs associated with Elia’s long NICU stay.
Lost income during these crucial months, allowing Esperanza and Emilio to focus fully on Elia’s care.
Peace of mind so they can spend more time at their baby’s bedside without worrying about how to make ends meet.
How You Can Help
No amount is too small—every dollar makes a difference. Whether it’s covering a tank of gas to get to the hospital, a week of groceries, or a portion of a medical bill, your kindness will ease the burden and help Baby Elia’s parents stay by her side through this fight.
If you’re unsure how much to give, we humbly suggest donations of $25, $50, or $100, but please know that any amount is deeply appreciated. Even sharing this page with your friends and family helps more than you know.
Esperanza and Emilio are already proving what incredible parents they are. Baby Elia may be tiny, but her fight is mighty. Together, we can wrap this family in love, support, and prayers until the day Elia is strong enough to finally go home.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for being part of Baby Elia’s journey.
