Help Frank

This is Frank many of you know him in this valley. Frank is a kind and generous man and would be there to help anyone in need. Frank has been homeless and struggling for a couple years. Frank is one of the most hardworking men I know. Everyday he gets on the bus and walks to the local shopping centers because he has no means of transportation for himself. Everyday whether its rainy, cold, or extremely hot he is out there washing windows and cleaning cars from sun up to sometimes late into the night to try and make his rent money for his family staying at a motel.

Frank has had his share of bad luck. He has lost his room at his motel and ended up on the streets at times due to lack of funds. Frank is a man of God and always believes that God will provide for him and his family. If things dont always work out God has a bigger plan for you.

Frank has a wife who has many medical problems and is unable to help provide for the family. She tries to support Frank in any way she can. Frank also has a son who has disabilities that his wife cares for while Frank is at work. Frank spends everyday walking around trying to make ends meet for his family. He doesnt stand on street corners begging he will tell you I am an honest man trying to make an honest living. He offers his services to what you can afford and doesnt set a price to rip you off.

So your probably wondering why Frank doesnt have a full time job...well he has had full time work in the past. I know his last job was doing paving and cement work. He is a hard worker and very reliable. The biggest problem for frank other than having no vehicle is that it takes 2 weeks to recieve the first pay check. Unfortunately for Frank he has to pay $75 daily in order to keep a roof over his family's head. That is how Frank has lost his motel before. He has gone to work and tried to work something out with the motel owners and they wont budge. He has to pay daily without loosing his room. So Frank can't take on a full time job that he has to wait for the money to come in.

I am trying to end this vicious cycle for Frank and his family. His dream is to one day be able to have a house of his own and be able to work a regular full time job. If he didnt have to pay a daily rate and could pay monthly I know his family would be in a much better environment. I cant imagine the stress Frank and his wife go through everyday not knowing if today would be their last under a warm roof.

I am hoping that we can all come together and donate to help Frank and his family. I am hoping to get enough donations to provide him with a 2 bedroom home with the rent for at least a couple months, deposit, and some furnishings such as beds, livingroom furniture, dining room table, pots and pans, kitchen necessities and any other items they may need.

I know everyone adopts a family during the holidays so my hope is this year we can all adopt Frank and his family. We can not only give them a fresh start but give them some sense of security and show them that we care. Not just give them a one time present but a life changing experience. Please help me in this cause. Every little bit helps so even if it's only a dollar I know we can make a difference for Frank and his family.
