Kevin and Amanda's Recovery Fund

I am starting this page to help out my cousin and his family so they can get back on their feet without having to worry about their financial obligations over the next few months.  My cousin is a close friend of mine and has been a warrior in his fight against addiction.   I am hoping that he and his family can focus on healing and getting treatment over the next couple of months without the stress of worrying about their financial obligations. Kevin is an inspiration to me and explained it best in a post this morning.

"The opioid epidemic is front and center in my home, I am an alcoholic, that is my drug of choice, I am no stranger to the drug scene, when I drank whatever drugs were available, put it this way I did not say no! I was a monster when I drank and drugged and the saddest part was what I put my love ones through. I had numerous suicide attempts, been in jail, rehab and mental institutions. God family and love saved my life, people who continually helped me and stuck by me through and through saved my life! I am forever grateful for that love! My wife is an addict, her drug of choice is opiates. She has battled since I've known her, she also suffers from severe depression, she has been to jail, rehab and mental institutions as well. People will judge and have their own opinions and thats your God given right, I am not trying to sway anyone. My wife is 37weeks pregnant and relapsed and was arrested for theft and stole all our money as well. Was in jail all last week, one of the hardest weeks of my life. I am mad, sad and every fucking feeling you can imagine, but I am blessed with God's love and guidance. Given up is not an option for someone like me, cause God never gave up on me. My kids are the greatest gift I've ever received and I am beyond grateful for that! I love my wife with all my heart and I am right there with her on the front line fighting like hell. If she is breathing we are fighting, she is sick no different from someone who has cancer, well the only difference is there is way out of addiction and its called old fashion hard ass work, from the bottom up! Good Amanda is the most loving loyal person I've ever met and I am beyond blessed to have her and she is worth more than I can explain! Sick Amanda has no self esteem and is depressed and just tears herself apart and the noise in her head is pure devil shit! God put us together for a reason and I see it everyday and I am so grateful for that. Our new baby on the way is healthy and ready to join our family! I ask please pray for my family and all addicts who suffer and their families who suffer just as much! I am grateful I was able to put this down for whomever reads this and if it helps one person it was worth it and I know it helped me, thats a win! Love your love ones and keep fighting the good fight, most of all help someone don't hurt someone. God loves all and so does my beautiful family!"

Kevin is a proud man and when bringing up money he was already asking about paying it back. I thought if we can get 200 people to give 10$, then that burden is lifted.
