Help Lucy walk again

My name is Sheila and I spent many years as a missionary Sister in Bolivia. One of my former students, Lucy, had a terrible accident yesterday and is in desperate need of surgery on her hip. Without the surgery she will not walk again. Lucy and her family are very poor, but rich in kindness, ready to help at any time.

Lucy is a teacher in her small village and is heartbroken that she may not be able to return to this work that she loves, as well as caring for her children and grandchildren.

Any help you give will be appreciated by Lucy and her family. In addition to the surgery, there will be other expenses as she recovers.
