Esme’s Hip Surgery

Esme is our loving, wild, and goofy 3.5 year old golden retriever who was diagnosed with advanced hip dysplasia when she was only 2 years old. We recently were told that Esme’s hips and muscles have deteriorated and she is over compensating causing damage to her knees & causing her to be in on-going pain.
It’s for this reason, we have decided to proceed with femoral head removal for both hips - in hopes of giving her a pain free life so she can continue to run, play fetch, and love.
Esme has impacted every single human (and doggo) she has met - bringing a smile to strangers faces & helping her mom get out of bed on her worst days & reminding her that there is so much joy in this life.
Esme deserves the best life - one she has allowed for her family & brother to have because of her love.
We are so grateful and humbled for your help. Thank you for helping up allow Esme to run and play again.
