Esme needs surgery and injections your help matters!

Hello everyone! My name is Maria Malpica and this is my beautiful daughter Esme! She is 9 years old. God willing, we will raise enough money to pay for her surgery and injections! For just the injections, it is $29,000, and for the surgery, it is $5,000. Which now I have been told it’s due tomorrow, May 9th, 2025. Her surgery is on May 12! CPP is a rare disease; it happens to 1 out of 5,000 to 10,000 children, more common in girls than boys. She gets a Lupron Depot Peds injection every 6 months.

Accompanied by X-rays and blood work to keep her monitored.

Without this injection, her body will not tolerate the excessive growing it’s doing on its own. This injection helps her slow down her growth in order to have her body catch up to her bone density and not cause her even more health problems. We have to travel to Spokane to visit an endocrinologist that specializes in this. It’s a 2 hour and 20 mins drive one way. Esmeralda is due to also have a surgery on May 12 because she has fluid build-up in the back of her ear. This is her 2nd time having this procedure done. The first time was a success, but as soon as the ear tubes came out, all the fluid built up again in her ear. But this time, she’s losing some hearing in one of her ears due to the fluid pressure. So once again, they will be cutting the inside of both her ears and placing small ear tubes that will let the fluid flow out normally and not stay built up in the back of her ears. She’s been in so much pain, fevers, headaches, and infections due to this. They moved up her surgery as soon as possible, but we don’t have any insurance. My husband started a job, and we don’t qualify for insurance for this month, and they are asking for 50% of the surgical fee upfront, and we don’t have the funds for this, but she needs this, and she cannot keep having the non-stop pain and missing school because of it!
