Help Esme Complete Her 4th Album: dsktp world

My name is Esme and I'm a trans woman and music composer/producer from Madison, WI.

I've been making music in my bedroom since around 2014, and I've been releasing music on Spotify, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud as "dandeless" since 2019. Here is My Website for more info.

This year I'm coming up on the release of my 4th self-produced album: dsktp world. I've been working on this album for the past two years while employed part-time at Madison Public Library as well as with a local stagehand company. I'm just about at the finish line, with the only missing parts being the funding for 3rd-party mastering (~$300), CD production (~$400), contract payments (~$300), and miscellaneous music software and hardware to continue my career.

Despite the amount of time, money, and hard work I put in for it, this kind of work doesn't usually bring a huge amount of money my way, with my total sales over the course of the past 3 years not even touching $1000 in total despite hundreds of streams monthly. It's been a huge struggle for me this past year with my mental health, my transition, work, school, music, friends, and alongside all of it, keeping my wallet from imploding. I would love to get this bit of help from my community so I can get this album done and out for everyone to hear. It's been a labor of love for me and it marks a huge milestone in my abilities as a musician and my own identity. When I listen back on this album I hear all the emotions I've been going through for years finally breaking through to the surface, and doing this release right is the first step into a career I've been chasing my whole life.
