Eska's Emergency Vet Bills

On Saturday, May 27 at around 10 pm, Shelby's dog Eska was hit by a car. Shelby immediately rushed her to the emergency vet hospital where she was examined and stayed overnight. She had damage to her lungs, liver, diaphragm, as well as other concerns from the vet.
Eska then needed emergency surgery for a torn diaphragm.
Eska had emergency surgery for a torn diaphragm and fluid/ bleeding around her lungs liver spleen bladder and kidneys. She had blood transfusions during the night to stabilize her for surgery.
The surgery concluded that she had a 4-5 inch tear in her diaphragm with a lobe from her liver coming through. She may lose the use of a kidney and has many other issues of concern, but they think she'll have a full recovery. She'll be hospitalized most of this week.
We are extremely hopeful that Eska will be able to make a full recovery, but with these procedures and overnight stays at the emergency vet comes HUGE vet bills. We are looking at around $15,000.
