A memorial fund has been created to memorialize Esias Amaru Ramos-Berhane’s memory. Esias was in a fatal car crash while enjoying his scooter. Gone too soon.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our beloved son’s passing. Esias Amaru Ramos-Berhane was born on January 24, 2013. Esias passed away peacefully following a fatal crash, where the driver of a vehicle collided with Esias’s scooter, on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of Leigh and Camden Avenues. Esias’s mom and dad Nahil & Alex are very proud of their Peruvian & Eritrean family, they like to call their children Peru-trean.
Esias will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His brother, mom and dad, grandparents, uncles and aunts, nephews, nieces, friends and extended family. His light touched so many lives, and his memory will continue to shine for infinity in our hearts.
He was a consummate gentleman. He was a warm kind person. He was the heart of his family. He looked out for others and loved unconditionally. He loved basketball, Fortnite and swimming with his friends. He was the glue of the family and loved family time. Esias just graduated from Bagby Elementary and was looking forward to middle school at Ida Price.
From his parents: Our hearts have been broken open into a million little pieces. We miss him so much already. The pain is indescribable and unbearable.
He was larger than life to us.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time.
