Hello, My name is Sheena. Teaching has always been my passion, and I have worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality. My journey began in 2013 when I first pursued my teaching degree, but life took me in different directions—becoming a parent, earning my pharmacy technician license, and completing phlebotomy school. In 2023, I returned to my first love—education—and resumed my pursuit of a teaching degree.

Throughout this journey, I’ve maintained an unwavering commitment to excellence, earning 15 consecutive A’s, making the Dean’s List twice, and being recognized on the Principal’s List. I have been honored with three nominations for the National Society of Leadership and Success. Balancing school while working two jobs has not been easy, but my determination has never wavered. I have even secured two scholarships, one for $1,000 and another for $600, and have already paid nearly $3,000 out of pocket.

Now, I am asking for help. To complete my degree and begin student teaching, I need to pay the remaining $4,500 in tuition before September 1st, 2025. As an instructional assistant for two and a half school years, I have seen firsthand the impact a dedicated teacher can have on students. I am eager to step into that role and make a difference, but I need support to cross the finish line.
