Elizabeth & Jacob’s Story
To know the Eshack’s is to love the Eshack’s. They’re kind, caring, loving, and probably the most selfless people you will ever meet. Seven years ago, Elizabeth made the decision to have her tubes tied. She believed it to be the best option in a time where she didn’t fully know Jesus. This all changed when she met Jacob.
From the day she met Jacob she knew she wanted to have kids again and to share the experience of having a child together. They both knew that it may not even be a possibility due to Elizabeth’s tubes being tied, but they persisted in seeking the Lord for this desire. Matthew 19:26 tell us, “...With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible,” so for the past few years, many of us have come alongside Jacob and Elizabeth in praying for God to do the impossible.
Jacob and Elizabeth have recently decided to take a leap of faith in having a tubal reversal (otherwise known as a Tubal Ligation Reversal). They have chosen a doctor in Raleigh, NC who holds a 75% success rate (with her current BMI and age) with this procedure; the highest in the world. The procedure itself costs $6,400 (cover, preoperative record review and consult, surgeon's fee, anesthesia fees, surgical supplies, operating facility fees, post op visit and follow up care). This is where we get to come in as family and rally around, give, and pray for this amazing couple.
Their goal is to save up $3000 for the down payment by the start of the 2018, New Year, and then finance for the remainder. How amazing is it that we get to play a part in this? As I said before, to know the Eshack’s is to love the Eshack’s. Whether you can give $5 or $500, every bit counts. I pray you all know this isn’t about money, but about giving to an incredible couple who has reached out for our help. If we raise just $750 every month, we will reach our goal by December 22nd; talk about a Christmas miracle! I encourage you to sow into what God is doing in this family!
