Hi, my name is Nina, and I’ve been a close friend of Sean and Gladys for over 10 years. I’m writing this with a heavy heart.

Sean recently suffered the unimaginable loss of his partner, Gladys. While still deep in grief and having to raise their 3 children on his own, Sean was dealt another devastating blow: a diagnosis of stage 2A testicular cancer. He’s already undergone surgery, but the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. He’s now in the midst of an aggressive chemotherapy regimen and is unable to work during treatment.

Sean has always been the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation. He’s humble, generous, and deeply loving—the type who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. But now, he’s the one who needs help. His medical bills are piling up, and with only one income and three children to care for, he’s struggling to stay afloat.
