John Parison has 21 years with the Kansas City Fire Department, where he currently holds the rank of Fire Apparatus Operator (FAO). He is also next in line to be promoted to the rank of Captain. FAO Parison has dedicated his entire career to giving back to his community and his fire department. John is a second generation fireman with his son continuing his legacy after he graduates the academy on December 16th. After a career spent devoting his life giving to others, JP recently broke the news to us that he has Stage 4 Colon Cancer that is inoperable. When the doctors told John he has the fight of his life ahead of him, he said, " You don't know the fight I have in me."

Our goal is to provide support continually for John and his family. John cares about his job. He loves his job. He cares without discrimination. He helps anyone, he takes time to develop relationships, so that any and all that speak with John benefit. John puts his family first. He has worked timelessly to support his family. His amazing work ethic is one of his many defining traits, and the reason he is so loved. He cares, and now we ask for help caring for him as he cared for his community. We must mirror his effort and it must endure. Our vigilance is a testament to this warm hearted, generous, selfless father and family member to all. John is passionate, partial, intelligent, logical and loving. John has served others in our exemplary fashion. Now it's time we return the favor. But we must do it as well as he would. We have no limit, no end. We will remain vigilant in our mission to support John and his family. The reasons are innumerable. Medical care, medical supplies, therapist, home remodel, kid's college, continued support and financial safety net for his family that would alleviate any monetary worry. Kansas City, we need your help. People of our great nation, we need your help. Any and all donations will go to our beloved John and his family. John believes a person can make a difference. So, show that you can as John has done. No donation is too small or too large. Individuals, groups, and companies, we ask you to help provide for a person and his family, that is our family, and who treated all he met like family.

With the permission of JP's family, we will be working along the side of Ronnie Doumitt (founder/friend) with Answering The Call (501c3) to organize and distribute fundraising appropriately.
