Meet Ray, our resilient greyhound

Ray came into foster care with us after undergoing desexing surgery and a dental procedure. Unfortunately, things took a challenging turn—he had a tooth extracted, but the stitch fell out, leaving a hole so big and long it connects to his nose!

To make matters worse, we initially thought the vet had left part of a tooth behind, but it turned out to be his jawbone sticking out. Poor Ray has been through so much already, and now he needs another surgery to fix these issues.

His incredible foster carers have been absolute heroes, rushing from one vet to the next to ensure Ray gets the care he needs. Despite the holiday season making scheduling tricky, we finally secured a surgery date!

We’re resharing the fundraiser, which now also helps cover Ray's medical bills along with Bella’s. We are so grateful for everyone who has already donated—your support means the world to us and to these precious pups.

If you’d like to contribute or share the fundraiser, we’d greatly appreciate it. Together, we can make sure Ray and Bella get the care they deserve!

Thank you for being part of their journey. ❤️

Bella's story

Bella came into foster care with a large lump on her snout. After a biopsy, we received heartbreaking news: it’s a mast cell tumor.

Thankfully, a lymph node aspirate showed no signs of spread, giving us hope. Bella has already started her journey to recovery, receiving chemotherapy (vinblastine) and steroids to shrink the tumor ($1,000)

The next crucial step is surgery to remove the tumor completely with clear margins to ensure the best possible outcome. This surgery is scheduled for Friday, December 27th, with an estimated cost of $7,000–$8,000.

Bella is a sweet, brave girl who deserves a chance at a healthy, happy life. We’re reaching out to our community to help cover the costs of her life-saving treatment. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to giving Bella the future she deserves.

Thank you for your kindness and support. ❤️
