Cada año viajo con mi mujer, Vanesa, también maestra y mis 2 hijos (Carlos y Dani) en busca de conocer distintas culturas y vivir experiencias.
Este año hemos decidido hacer algo más en nuestras vacaciones, así que durante un mes estaremos como voluntarios en 2 escuelas de zonas rurales de Tailandia y Camboya. Además de nuestro voluntariado allí enseñando inglés básico e informática nos gustaría poder llevar una aportación para comprar material escolar e informático en el centro que la organización local: PAC tiene en Bakong, cerca de Siem Reap (Camboya)-MAPA- .
Estamos realizando algunas campañas locales en nuestros colegios para conseguir fondos, pero nos gustaría a través de esta plataforma poder llegar a más gente y poder llevar lo máximo posible a Camboya.
No tenemos un objetivo concreto que cumplir, cualquier pequeña aportación será muy agradecida e irá ÍNTEGRA a esta organización. Elige al final de esta página la cantidad que aportas y en qué se usará tu dinero. Por ejemplo, puedes donar 10€ para comprar libros o para ayudar a construir un pozo. (No utilizaremos ni un céntimo de esta recaudación para costear nuestro viaje, alojamiento ni ningún tipo de gasto).

My name is Pablo Garcia and I am a technology professor in Albacete, Spain. Each year, my wife (Vanesa) our two sons (Carlos & Dani) and I seek a new destination to go and explore.
This year we have decided to do something more with our summer holidays, and we will be volunteering at two schools in rural Thailand and Cambodia, specifically helping the local organization: PAC located in Bakong Center, near Siem Reap (Cambodia). -MAP- .
You can learn about the school in the video above, but the school educates more than 400 students of various ages in English and computer skills. They attend to the center in the evenings so they can learn what is not taught in the schools.
We are currently hosting a book fundraiser at Vanesa´s school, and have decided to create a GoFundMe as a way to raise some additional funds for the schools. All funds raised will be used to purchase school necessities -- supplies, computers, etc. Choose below the amount and what are your money going to be used for. E.g. you can contribute with 10€ for books of for helping in a water well.
(We will not use a penny of this money to pay for our trip, accommodation or any other expense)
We do not have specific expectations here -- just want to contribute all that we can while we are there.
