ESCS Students Lose Home to Fire

The East Somerville Community is asking for your help!
On October 28, around 3 am, a car in the driveway between 37 and 33 Jackson Road went up in flames before spreading to the neighboring homes. Fortunately the residents were all able to escape uninjured; however, the buildings and their contents were severely damaged or destroyed.
This fire directly affected 3 students who attend The East Somerville Community School. The family of the East Somerville Community School students was assisted by the Red Cross and the Somerville Family Learning Collaborative where they were able to obtain some clothing and food. The family is still currently displaced.
Any funds collected will be distributed to the family, in order for them to begin rebuilding their lives after what was lost.

El 28 de octubre, alrededor de las 3 de la mañana, un automóvil en la entrada entre las casas 37 y 34 Jackson Road se incendió y el fuego se extendió a las casas vecinas.
