Escaping from France+abuse.

The beautiful girl you see in the photo next to me is Neb. We met a few years ago via tumblr and she has been a part of our group ever since. She was living here at her aunt's house in the USA, escaping a terrible situation that I will touch upon in a moment. She started getting an education and also worked on the weekends. This is the girl who would listen, who is selfless and kind and always looking out for others. I had the honor of meeting her in person a few months ago. 

Now...things have changed.

She went to visit her family in France for Christmas, only to receive a call from her aunt telling her that she is not allowed to come back. She refuses to let my friend come and collect her own belongings. 

She was packed for a vacation, not to move out of the country.

The situation she is now trapped in is more than "not ideal." It is borderline abusive.

 Her father is beyond strict, down to dictating when she is allowed to be outside of her bedroom. He dominates the family's financial means and will not allow her mother to have any sort of money whatsoever. 

Her initial plan was to come to the States, make some money, and fly her mother and brother here so they too could escape the horrific abuse. I won't go into full details for the sake of her privacy, but she doesn't deserve this. Nobody does.

What I am asking for may be a hefty price. I'm trying to raise money so she and her loved ones can escape an abusive household and live the American dream, free of a man who thinks that he owns this family like they are possessions instead of people.
