My partner and I are in an incredibly stressful and urgent situation, and we're reaching out to our community for help.

We’re a same-sex couple trying to build a safe and stable home together, but right now, we’re living with roommates who are making that impossible. They’ve stopped paying rent, refuse to contribute to any household responsibilities, and have created a toxic, tense environment that’s affecting both our mental health and basic safety. We're constantly on edge, dealing with conflict, financial pressure, and emotional stress that no one should have to live with, especially in their own home.

Unfortunately, neither my partner nor I have family to turn to as their parents have unfortunately passed, and my own are several thousand miles away in a very red state.

We’ve done everything we can to make things work, but at this point, we need to leave urgently.

We’re raising $3,000 to cover emergency moving costs, including a deposit, first month’s rent, moving expenses, and basic household needs to start fresh in a safer, more stable place. This is our chance to reclaim peace, privacy, and emotional safety, and we can’t do it alone.
