Help Us Rebuild After Fleeing Violence in Haiti

We are a family in desperate need of your help. Our home in Haiti, which also served as our small business, was violently invaded by gangs. We were forced to flee with our children in the middle of the night, leaving behind everything we had worked so hard for. The violence in Haiti has become unbearable, with gangs controlling vast areas of the country and countless families like ours being displaced.
According to CBN News, the escalating crisis in Haiti has left many communities vulnerable, with gangs controlling 80% of the capital, Port-au-Prince. Victor Marx, a humanitarian, has described the dire situation for families, especially those like ours who are caught in the middle of this chaos.
Our Plan to Start Over in Brazil
To protect our children and provide them with a better future, we have decided to seek refuge in Brazil. However, we cannot do this alone. We are asking for your support to help us rebuild our lives.
Here’s what we need:
1. Visas and Airfare: $6,000 is needed for airline tickets for our family of four ($1,500 per person) to Brazil.
2. Temporary Housing: We’ll need to stay in a hotel until we can find an affordable apartment with a garage, costing about 1,500 BRL per month.
3. Business Setup: We plan to open a small coffee shop in the garage of our future home. This includes purchasing essential equipment like a BUNN LPG Commercial Coffee Grinder ($899) to kickstart our business. And to attract potential customer.

5. Backup Power: We aim to purchase a silent generator to ensure uninterrupted work and business operations in case of power outages.
6. Language Learning: Enrolling in a three-month online Brazilian Portuguese course to help us adapt and communicate effectively.
7. Legal Assistance: Hiring an immigration attorney in Brazil to guide us through the legal process and ensure compliance with local regulations.
