My story:

I am Mays nabil from Gaza. I write these words after deep thought and hesitation, but my desire to save my family’s life exceeds all hesitations. I am here to ask you to help evacuate my family to a safer place, away from the hell of war where there is deprivation, pollution, disease, and cold. My father suffers from high blood pressure and gout, but the war prevented him from taking his medication for five months, which worsened his health condition, and my sister suffers from Hepatitis C virus due to contamination. We were displaced several times after the ground invasion,

Which led to the destruction and bombing of our house, our first destination was Deir al-Balah, but it was not spared from the missiles. After that, we were forced to flee to the city of Rafah, which they claimed was a safe city. At every moment of displacement, we suffered from inhumane conditions full of oppression and misery.

This is my home, we used to live safely in a warm home filled with happiness and reassurance, but now we are displaced, without shelter and the minimum necessities

Our present and future are fraught with danger, so I made this link after all paths had been cut off. Exiting Gaza requires expensive costs that exceed our capabilities in light of the continuing war and the family’s financial income being cut off for five months, We are six members, and coordinating the exit from Gaza requires $5,000 for one person.

In this war, we lost a lot of property, our home, my father’s work, my brother project, which was opened only a few months before the war, and our universities were destroyed. Therefore, there is no reason for us to stay in Gaza other than the danger approaching us and the loss of more. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of my family.
