Hi! I'm Meg, a queer, biracial nerd currently living in NYC who loves everything about the ocean, anime, and Star Wars. Along with my day job in DEI education, I make art, zines, embroideries, original and fanfic stories, and podcasts. 

Throughout the last several months I've realized how much living here has a negative effect on my mental and physical health, and it is no longer sustainable for me to be in NYC. I have found a great place in Maryland that I will be moving into in January.

It's just me here and I do not have a car or friends who could help in person, so I have to hire movers. The across state moving costs are much higher than I anticipated because I've never done a move like this (I moved to NYC 3ish years ago with only 4 suitcases). Based on the quotes I have received from moving companies, my goal is $2500. All of that money will go toward paying for the movers/moving supplies. 

My original move to NYC was fraught with a lot of mixed emotions, but I'm so excited for my future in Maryland. Even if I don't hit my goal, any money donated would really help me out. I would love to be able to settle into my new apartment without ending up totally underwater.
