Hello, my name's Claire and I am a Yorkshire actress based in London who is self producing a short film raising awareness on coercive control. Knowledge is power and the more people know the signs of coercive control, the more they can avoid unknowingly ending up in an abusive relationship. For this reason I have gathered a fantastic team of creatives, actors and film makers together to make this film possible.

We have now filmed 'Escape' and need to reach our remaining target to cover POST-PRODUCTION costs. Thank you for your generous donations so far.

Here are some signs of coercive control that are explored in the film:

-Controlling a person's finances.

-Isolating a person from friends and family.

-Controlling their partner using their pet.

-Belittling and humiliating a person.

-Controlling who you are allowed to see or spend time with.

-Making you feel fearful or scared of non-compliance.

Money raised will go towards entering this film into various 2025 film festivals, travel expenses, catering costs, insurance of equipment, hard drives to store footage and editing the film.
