Help Ahmed and his family survive in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Jaike and I am helping Ahmed raise money to survive in Gaza. Ahmed is a friend who currently lives in the north of Gaza, an area that has been severely affected by war and blockades. He lives in miserable conditions without access to basic services such as food, water, medicine or electricity.
With this campaign I want to raise money to help him directly. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference.
I will make sure that the money raised goes directly to Ahmed through his official Bank of Palestine account. Below is Ahmed his story:
My name is Ahmed. I live in northern Gaza with my wife, Shawq, and our two children, Jude (8) and Joan (7). Since the war began, our lives have been shattered. Our home was destroyed in an airstrike, and we now live in a makeshift tent that I built by hand on the rubble of my father’s house. We’ve been unable to flee to the south due to the ongoing violence and lack of safe passage.
Before the war, I supported my family by selling ice cream from a truck and supplying local shops with freezers. That entire small business—our only source of income—was destroyed in the bombings. Since then, I haven’t been able to work or feed my family properly. Education has stopped completely for my children. They spend their days in fear and uncertainty, robbed of their childhood.
My wife, Shawq, is 25 years old. In the first days of the war, we were ordered to evacuate our apartment building. Moments later, it was reduced to rubble. We’ve been displaced more than twenty times since, constantly moving in search of safety. At one point, I was arrested and tortured, while Shawq and our children were left in the street—homeless, hungry, and terrified.
Our son Jude used to dream of becoming a pilot. Now, he’s too afraid to sleep at night. The fear in his eyes haunts us. Our daughter Joan keeps asking about her toys and her old home—questions we can’t answer anymore.
We are not asking for much—just a chance to survive. With your help, we hope to buy food, clean water, clothing, and possibly find a safer place to live. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us hope.
Please share our story. Please help us.
With gratitude,
Ahmed, Shawq, Jude, and Joan
