ESA Parent Association Annual Appeal
Tax deductible
Hi families!
Greetings and happy spring from the ESA Parent Association. This is the third year that we have not been able to hold any of the in-person fundraising events that raise the money we need to pay for trips, enrichment activities, and physical items needed to educate our students. To ensure that our ongoing support of these continues, we are sending this annual fundraising appeal for the 2021-22 school year to ask you, our generous and supportive ESA community, for help. Plus, we have a wonderful donor who has offered to match us for every dollar raised up to $10,000 to supercharge our fundraising efforts!
ESA needs YOUR financial support.
See below for what we are planning to fund with your generous help:
-New picnic tables and seating for the roof
-Scholarships for entrance/transportation fees for class and college trips as well as senior activities like a prom
-A trip to the New England Science and Sailing Foundation in May. Rosa and Cristie are planning to take 50 students on an overnight oceanography trip to NESS. The school is paying for the bus but the trip cost is still close to $150 per student and the PA will sponsor any students who need financial assistance.
-Staff appreciation breakfast or lunch at the end of the year
-Beehives on the roof! A professional beekeeping organization will come to set up a beehive so that students can learn about pollinators, animal behavior and how to take care of the bees. They will even learn to collect the honey! The organization bottles it so that students can sell it for a profit. Approximate cost for this is $5,000.
-Coaching fees for our intramural basketball and flag football teams
- Supplies for our chemistry and oceanology classes.
- Decision day t-shirts honoring our senior class's commitment to their college next year.
Please consider making a donation to support our school! No amount is too large or small. Every dollar goes towards our matching donation and will be used to fund educational and enrichment opportunities for these activities.
You can make your donation at this link: GoFundMe.
Thanks to you all!
