Hi, my name is Elyana and for my bat mitzvah project my goal is to bring a little comfort to pediatric Gaucher's patients. With your help, I plan to raise as much money as possible, in order to make teddy bears for these kids, and bring a smile and some comfort to them during their hospital stays. Teddy bears were chosen because I know how scary being in a hospital can be. I have a stuffed animal that is very special to me and having her next to me, both when I was going under anesthesia and waking up, always made me feel better. Through my project, I hope to be able to give this comfort to as many pediatric patients as possible. Each teddy bear is $18 dollars, which will include a specially designed t-shirt to help bring a smile to these kids faces and make sure that they know how many people care about them. So please donate a bear, or more, and help make some the kids time in a hospital a little brighter.
