As many of you know, our dear friend Stephanie was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to have a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery immediately after.
Your help has gone a long way toward helping her rest and recuperate comfortably and without too many worries, but we are not past the finish line yet. The post-op pathology report changed her prognosis from stage zero to stage two breast cancer, and now she's facing the daunting news that she must undergo five months of chemotherapy followed by radiation therapy.
This means she needs our help more than ever. Steph and Mark live in Taos, but must travel to Santa Fe or Albuquerque to receive treatment. Travel costs alone are astronomical, not to mention the fact she is not going to be able to work or attend school while she is undergoing treatment.

There are going to be so many costs coming up for Stephanie and Mark. Some that we cannot even begin to imagine. It's tough to ask for help, but mutual aid is the way of world we live in. Let's look out for our sister and show her that she's not alone in this fight.
Please feel free to reach out to Steph with questions or well wishes.
