Our sweet Solange is battling paralysis caused by IVDD
(Intervertebral Disc Disease).
Surgery and therapy offer her best odds at regaining mobility, but due to a long period of unemployment months ago, Solange is unfortunately without pet insurance.

What Happened?
- Solange was always viewed as a healthy and happy pup — until late last week, when she began walking gingerly and refused to use any stairs
- By nightfall she was struggling to fall asleep and would whimper periodically through the night
- After taking Solange to the Animal ER, doctors recommended that she be taken to a neurologist for an MRI, which revealed she had “severely herniated discs”
- With immediate treatment, Solange was given a 90% chance of recovery, but waiting too long could result in permanent paralysis
- Trusting in her doctors, Solange's parents agreed to the surgery and are now working hard and praying that they find a way to cover all of her medical bills
About Solange & Her Family
- Solange (full name: Lady Solange Oreo Supreme aka “Baby”) is a 5-year-old extroverted Cardigan Welsh Corgi that LOVES to run and greet everyone in her neighborhood
- As a puppy, Solange was gifted to Marina from Brendon to celebrate their 1st Anniversary together
- Marina is a beloved Teacher who supports and inspires her middle school students (6th-8th grade)
- Brendon is a Graphic Designer who's known for his contributions to charities, non-profits, and churches over the last two decades
