Our beloved wild child, moto junkie & lover of all things two wheels, Kurtis, is currently in the ICU trauma center suffering from several serious injuries. After a severe motorcycle accident, he was care flighted to the nearest hospital where they discovered the extent of his trauma. Kurtis has since undergone multiple surgeries to get his body to a point of healing.
Being an independent carpenter for his entire adult life, Kurtis hasn’t always had insurance and currently does not have any. With this in mind, we have found that he needs our help to make sure he has what he needs to be comfortable in the hospital and once he gets out. The injuries that Kurtis is suffering from are ones that will, nonetheless, require a very long road to recovery. This will be used to pay for medical bills, the care flight, a wheelchair & whatever else his recovery will require.
To know this man, is to love him. Kurtis would give anyone the shirt off his back and has helped us all in some way or another. He’s the guy who pulls over at 2am to make sure the driver who slammed into the tree is okay and coherent; he’s the guy who gives his time relentlessly to make sure everyone he loves is comfortable and thriving. We’re hoping this will allow Kurtis to recover with a peace of mind so that he can continue to bless us all with that infectious smile and wicked personality.
