As many of you know, Dianna, our longtime colleague was diagnosed with Lung Cancer approximately a year ago. Just recently, she learned that a tumor on her spine has resulted in the fracture of bones in her spine and neck. She is likely going to need assistance in getting around because of these additional complications. In addition, Dianna’s husband Jay, is battling stage 4 COPD. Jay is also a veteran who has honorably served our country. For many, many years, Dianna has been the first voice or person any of us saw when we brought our pets in for care. She was the person lending an ear when we wanted or needed to talk and was often there to help us sadly, grieve the loss of a beloved family member. Her warm personality, professionalism, and caring manner have helped contribute to Milford Animal Hospital’s culture for decades. Well, she now needs our help as she battles this disease and its difficult aftermath. In honor of all of our beloved companions that Dianna had a hand in helping, we are hoping you might find it possible to donate whatever you are able as she deals with what is likely her biggest challenge ever. All funds raised will help Dianna be able to pay household and medical bills and stay in her house surrounded by her animals. She will likely need wheelchair assistance for an extended period of time as well.
