Last night we received a call that no one ever wants to receive. My brother in law was found unresponsive by his 7 and 5 year old sons. Despite a quick response from paramedics, he was unable to be revived, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family.

Ervin worked tirelessly to care and provide for his 3 children and his partner, Gabrielle. He strived to create a happy and stable home for his family. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, from attending his kid's school functions, spoiling his girlfriend with flowers and gifts, cooking their favorite meals and never missing an event where family was gathered.

His passing has left a profound void in the lives of all who loved him. We will miss his smile, his laugh, his compassionate warm heart, his humour, his stories and his unwavering love for his friends and family.

We ask for prayers as we navigated this difficult time but we are also in need of funds for funeral expenses. Unfortunately, Ervin did not have a life insurance policy and the funeral and associated expenses are beyond what we can afford at this time. We are humbly reaching out to ask for help in covering the cost of the funeral.

Any contribution would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping us honor Ervin's memory. Any balance beyond funeral costs will go in to a fund for the care of his children.
