In Memory of Matt
After a brave, year-long battle with aggressive brain cancer, my son, Matthew, has passed away.
Matt truly lived for the people around him. He had a rare ability to connect with others, and over the years, he built a life full of deep friendships and lasting roots, from his upbringing in Washington to the past decade here in New Hampshire. Whether he was at work, spending time with friends, or coaching flag football, he brought warmth, energy, and kindness to everything he did.
Matt meant something different to everyone who knew him. He was a son, a brother, a mentor, and a friend. We take great comfort in knowing that so many people carry their own special memories of him.
Why We’re Asking for Help
As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we are facing the significant costs associated with funeral and memorial services. We want to honor Matt’s life in a way that is respectful and meaningful, reflecting the impact he had on all of us.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering these final expenses and laying Matt to rest with dignity.
Should any funds be raised beyond what is needed for these costs, our family will donate the remainder to the youth flag football organization Matt coached with to help cover registration fees for children who would otherwise be unable to participate.
