Dear Family & Friends,
Our world has been turned upside down in finding out that our beloved brother, Jose Luis, was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 43. Jose Luis has a life partner, is a loving father of two young children, and lives in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He needs our help with medical expenses and family support in the fight for his life.
For the past several weeks, Jose Luis has been unable to work at his auto shop, Galmar Tools, and is experiencing severe pain. He has lost his ability to speak and eat well. After multiple visits to oncologists, a biopsy has confirmed the diagnosis as mouth cancer. The cancer is a rare type of Squamous Cell Carcinoma that first started in his tongue and has spread to his throat.
We are asking for your help in covering the expensive and necessary treatments including chemo therapy, radio therapy, MRIs, and medications. Jose Luis is not covered by medical insurance. His radio and chemo treatments have already started and are planned to continue till he beats the cancer. Your GoFundMe donation will give him the best chance of survival.
