I know a lot of you have heard the awful news about my sister being diagnosed with breast cancer two weeks ago. If you find yourself wanting to help or wondering how you could show your love and support, please read the following:
For those of you who know my sister and brother-in-law Caleb, you know that they just started to build their family and have a healthy (almost) one year old son. They were hoping to expand their family and then they found out Danielle has cancer. Danielle was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. Her cancer is triple negative which will require her to start chemotherapy next week. Chemotherapy can damage eggs and ovarian follicles, therefore Danielle must undergo egg harvesting to preserve her fertility. This is the only way they will be able have children in the future. This procedure will cost them $5,000.00 out of pocket which is why I started this GoFundMe page. Nobody deserves the burden of cancer and Danielle and Caleb deserve to have the family they have always wanted. If you have found yourself wondering how you could help them, I encourage you to donate to this page to help them with their medical costs.
Despite this burden, Danielle remains positive and is ready to begin her battle against cancer with family, friends and faith on her side. Her bravery is remarkable:

I know that God has a plan for me and I trust in his plan. This coming week is filled with more appointments, tests, and preparation for my first round of chemo. I am oh so thankful to have supportive family and friends…and for those who don’t know me who are also praying for me, thank you. I am feeling overwhelmed and blessed at the same time.”
