Eros Manenti morto in moto per una fatalità

Ciao a tutti,

sono tra gli amici di Eros Manenti con cui, il giorno 2 Settembre 2023, trascorrevamo in sella alle nostre moto uno dei tanti giri organizzati con Eros, lungo via Cantoniera, in località ponte Glèr nei pressi di Castione della Presolana (BG) diretti verso il passo del Vivione.

Già...! la moto! La sua grande passione! La nostra passione... che ci univa.

Nessuno di noi si aspettava quanto di li a poco avremmo visto con i nostri occhi.

Dopo aver perso il controllo del mezzo, Eros ad una curva -quella maledetta stupida curva- è finito in una scarpata che costeggia la carreggiata (quella che vedete in foto), perdendo la vita di li a poco. Vani tutti i tentativi di soccorso sia di noi amici sia delle persone intervenute in soccorso sul posto.

Eros all'età di 49 anni, lascia moglie ed i suoi due giovani figli a causa di un fatalità, che nessuno di noi avrebbe voluto si verificasse e che nessuno avremme mai pensato sarebbe accaduta...proprio a lui.

Sono consapevole che nulla potrà ridarci la grinta e la giovialità di Eros, il cui sorriso tutti noi non scorderemo mai, ma con questa raccolta fondi vorrei che la famiglia possa trovare un briciolo di conforto e sentire la vicinanza di chi vorra donare, anche un piccola cifra, per la prematura scomparsa del nostro amato amico.

Hello everyone,

I am one of Eros Manenti's friends, with whom, on September 2, 2023, we were riding our motorcycles on one of the many rides organized by Eros, along Via Cantoniera, near Ponte Glèr in proximity of Castione della Presolana (BG) - Italy, heading towards Passo del Vivione.

Yes, the motorcycle! His great passion! The passion that bound us together. None of us expected what we would witness shortly thereafter.

After losing control of his vehicle at a curve - that accursed, stupid curve - Eros went off the road and into a ravine alongside the roadway (the one you see in the photos), losing his life shortly thereafter. All our attempts to assist him, both by us as friends and the people who came to help on the spot, were in vain.

Eros, at the age of 49, leaves behind his wife and his two young children due to a tragedy that none of us would have ever wanted to happen and that none of us could have imagined... to him of all people.

I am aware that nothing can bring back Eros' enthusiasm and joviality, and we will never forget his smile. However, with this fundraiser, I would like the family to find some comfort and feel the support of those who would like to donate, even a small amount, for the premature loss of our beloved friend.
