Hey everyone, this is Lyndsay, one of Brandon and Danielle’s longtime friends. I’m reaching out today because the Woods family is facing an incredibly difficult season, and they need our love and support more than ever.

Many of you may not have heard that last weekend, Brandon suffered a serious accident at home that left him with a spinal cord injury. He was rushed into emergency surgery, where doctors repaired a herniated disc and placed a bone graft and screws between C3 and C4. After several days in the ICU, he’s now been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital where he will remain for an extended period of time, separated from his family as he works through the intense and grueling process of recovery. Doctors are estimating that his journey toward regaining the best mobility possible will take anywhere from 6 to 12 months.

As you can imagine, this has completely turned the family’s life upside down. Brandon will be unable to work for quite some time, and the financial burden of this sudden crisis is overwhelming. Beyond the extensive medical bills, the family will face ongoing expenses related to his rehabilitation, transportation back and forth to the hospital, and additional household costs. Danielle is doing everything she can to keep things steady for their family, but with the kids to care for, household responsibilities, and now Brandon’s long recovery, the weight on her shoulders is immense.

That’s why I’m reaching out. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping the Woods family cover hospital and rehab expenses, everyday living costs, and the many unexpected challenges that come with this kind of life-changing injury. By easing the financial stress, we can help give Brandon and Danielle the space they need to focus on what matters most: his healing and their family’s well-being.
