**Ernie's family and loved ones would love to be able to read some words of inspiration as well as share a story about Ernie that made him such a special person.  If you knew Ernie at all, you know what an awesomely funny person he truly was. It is with a heavy heart and a mind full of questions as to why such a tragedy would take place. I am sadly informing you a loyal friend, husband, father, brother, and papa has suddenly passed away. All of those of you who knew Ernest (Ernie) Rivera, knows with complete confidence that he was a well-loved person. His giving, humble, caring, humorous heart will forever be tied to ours. Since he tested negative for the COVID-19 virus, Ernie’s last gift of life was to donate his kidneys.   Ernie has left behind his wife of 22 years, Dana, his son Ricky, and his daughter Lucy. As we can imagine, there is never a good time to lose a loved one. However, considering the times we are currently experiencing, losing someone now makes the grieving process so much more difficult. Missing in this process is the coming to the aid of his family, the heartfelt hugs, as well as the physical presence of both family and friends to soothe the broken hearts and devastating loss of Ernie.  As a result, Ernie’s dear family is experiencing their worst nightmare all alone. It was certainly unexpected and definitely has destroyed them to their core. With this extremely tough situation in mind, I humbly ask for your help to support his family during this trying time in their lives. I realize that things are tough for all during this pandemic, but it is especially rough for this family. PLEASE donate whatever possible to help, as it will be much appreciated.
