Ernie Easterling Strong

Ernie Easterling, II, sustained severe injuries in a tractor accident on Saturday morning, 9/28/19 at his home. He was airlifted to  UMMC for broken neck and fractured skull. He is currently in Neuro ICU at UMMC. He was taken to surgery on Saturday for brain bleed and so far, no recollection of blood on brain. He had 11 hours of surgery yesterday for crushed C6 &7 in neck and is currently on ventilator with paralysis that we are being told is permanent,  it we know we serve a Loving God that heals and provides.  Ernie and Wendy are youth ministers in their Church and love the Lord with all of their heart.  They have 3 beautiful children., Lee, Madelyn Grace and Tucker Reese. We are all praying for God’s healing on Ernie and for strength for recovery. God has proven to us over and over the past 2 days that HE is in control and that Nothing is Impossible with GOD if we call on HIM and believe. God has poured out HIS amazing grace and blessings on us and we are so thankful for every prayer, call, visit, food and acts of love and kindness that the family has received since this happened. God has a plan and a purpose- we know we have a long road ahead for recovery but we have turned it over to the Lord and trust that HE will bring us through this. Thank you all so much.
