On the morning of December 31, 2021, our mother, Ernestine Portis, transitioned to her eternal home. Initially, her illness did not appear to have been as severe; however, each day the symptoms progressed. She had insurance that unfortunately lapsed due to inability to maintain regular work from other health issues. Consequently, we are now struggling to cover the cost of the funeral arrangements.
We realize the set goal is a large amount and we certainly don't expect others to cover the entire cost. As her children, we're doing all we can to use outside resources and available programs. ANY donations are greatly appreciated! We are truly grateful for all of you. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
