ERNEST'S BATTLE WITH CANCER

My name is Kimberley Downton (Stokes). I am currently living in Ontario with my husband and 2 boys. I am setting up this go fund me page for my Brother Ernest Stokes, who lives in Deadman’s Bay, Newfoundland.
On April 4, 2018 my brother Ernest Stokes developed a tumor on the back of his shoulder. In August he was diagnosed with a rare soft tissue cancer. The past few months have been very difficult financially for him and his family. They have no insurance and all the travel cost comes out of their own pocket.
As a result of this cancer he has been in the hospital for about twelve days now to help control his pain and breathing issues. There is swelling in his legs, feet, and other parts of his body. They doctor’s wants to do surgery to remove the cancer, but Ernest also has issues with his heart.
Some of you may be aware that he also had cancer when he was younger and, in his thirty’s, had 2 heart attacks They are running test to make sure that he can undergo surgery without any complications. His wife Loretta travels back and forth to the hospital and we all know how costly that can get.
I decided to set up this go fund me page so that we can ease a bit of the financial burden right now for my brother Ernest, and my sister in law Loretta.
