Ernest Funeral Cost

Update: We had to discontinue life support and are asking for help with Funeral services. He is a Veteran but we still need to pay for services. My name is Gracie Ramos and I’m sharing my story of my loving husband Ernest Ramos, Sr that is fighting for his life. We have been married for 38 yrs and have 3 great kids and numerous grand kids. And I want share many more memories and years with him. Ernest was recently diagnosed with not 1 but 2 blood disorders ; MPD ( Myeloproliferative disorder) and MDS (Myelodysplastic syndrome).  They can be treated with Chemo but my husband is in a weaken state, he has to continue to be in the hospital to receive treatment to get healthier to fight this type of Cancer.  I need your help with medical expenses and family support in the fight for his life.

Last year in late February 2019, he was diagnosed with AML which is an aggressive type of Leukemia. He fought his way through countless radiation, chemo and bone marrow transplants and SURVIVED! So I know he will get through this with prayers and medical help. He is currently in an induced coma fighting several infections but the Doctors say he has the fight of Muhammad Ali. In September he fell in the bathroom and got a nasty cut on his head that lead to many more issues.

The reason our family is doing this fundraiser because Ernest lost his job in the oilfield due to cut backs this past year.(covid 19)  We have no medical insurance. The bills are piling up and I’m scared that we will be denied treatment if we don’t start some payment plan. As of right now, I can’t work due to being by his side in Dallas where he is getting medical treatment. My kids are helping as much as they can to help and I’m greatful.
