Ernest & Kahilu on Mission

We are approaching the 10 year mark of when we went to Namibia and had the lives of ourselves and our children change forever.
Part of that change was the ongoing friendship we have maintained with Kahilu and Ernest.
Their resilience, their faith and their trust in God despite very challenging life circumstances have continued to impress us.
If you had the privilege of meeting Ernest and Kahilu in Namibia or in Canada, you will know what a blessing they are to those around them.
Through different circumstances, their paths have begun to take a similar course.
Kahilu completed a Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in Bethlehem, SA and is now on staff there, with a 3 year commitment.
This position was taken on faith, and Kahilu is responsible to cover his room and board expenses.
He is also required to pay for the outreach portion of the school, which can take him to countries around the world or in Africa.
We are excited about this opportunity for him to see and serve more of the world and other parts of Africa.
Our desire is to also give him a monthly 'salary' so he can begin to save, budget and increase his independence.
Ernest began a YWAM in Windhoek last week, which is not yet paid for. They are being gracious enough to extend his time for payment and trusting that he will be able to raise the funds.
It is hard to know exactly how much 'the boys' need, but with all of the financial and time commitments our estimate is $6000 CDN.
This obviously does not need to be collected at one time and we will keep the GoFundMe account open for the next 3 years.
We would encourage you to get behind Ernest and Kahilu and support them, both financially and in prayer.
They have overcome many hurdles and still have many ahead of them, but their hearts just want to serve the Lord.
We will administer the money accordingly to each of them.
