Hey everyone!!!

Erin here.   This coming January, I am hoping to go on a volunteer trip to Honduras with the Syracuse chapter of the Global Brigades Organization, and I need your help! The purpose of this trip is to provide much needed medical and dental services to communities with very limited access to health care. Many of the most basic aspects of care that we take for granted are completely devoid in the communities I will visit, and their residents rely entirely on the help of Global Medical Brigades. Our main goal as a volunteer group is to reach as many people as we possibly can during our week long trip.  Since I'm not a doctor (just yet, hopefully!), I will be accompanied by one and help him or her with whatever they  may need me to do in order to provide the best medical attention possible.  As a pre-med student at Syracuse University, this trip will allow me to fruther my education of the medical field and give back to a community in need,  all while exposing myself to an extremely different culture.  
As you could imagine, this trip is very pricey.  My goal price would cover the entirety of the trip, including all of our transportation expenses and the neede medication and supplies.  I would deeply appreciate any amount that you are able to generously donate to me.  I know this trip will be life changing, and I couldn't be more grateful to anyone willing to help me.  I'm just trying to better the world one small step at a time!
